Index Funds ?

 

Index funds are at the core of stock market.

Warren Buffet says only a handful of traders or hedge funds actually beat the market by picking and  trading stocks. 

Why can we not use index funds of crypto currencies? Seems, we can!

If you only want to have a long term investment , do it and forget about it. This may be the way to go!

Balancer 

Do you own index fund, you can pick out the weights of each asset , it will rebalance automatically as the value of the assets change, why is this good ? Simple if one of the assets become too valuable in your portfolio then the volatility of the portfolio will be too much similar to that asset. Then if that asset looses value your portfolio will loose value, to avoid this rebalance!

The idea is great, you can also find other peoples portfolios, get an inspiration etc.

However some of my tokens I mentioned on the first post were not portfolio list , so I could not add them. Also since I already bought them from Binance, it would be expensive and time consuming to transfer them to a compatible wallet. 

So , finally I did not use or buy this coin however I think it has potential. Especially if you want to go with mainstream coins.

Ready made index fund at your service in token form! 

If you believe that these assets are going to be valuable in the future, go for it

It is composed of 20 assets - weights of each asset are available on their website. 

The only problem I found bit difficult , this token is not available on major broker apps. So you need to go through some effort to buy this. 

Easiest way I found either : 

Connect your mainstream wallet to uniswap and convert other coins to this token.

or 

use hitbtc , use credit card to buy btc or eth , then swap using trader app.

for both options to be safe send it back to your compatible wallet. 

CRYPTO20 - First Tokenized Cryptocurrency Index Fund

I currently did not buy this token however I am planning to buy some later just to compare the performance with my own portfolio.
